『FINAL FANTASY XI』の４番目の拡張版になります。
新しいエリアとジョブが追加されました。

過去のお話で自分はサンドリア編をクリアしました。
目新しいシステムでは、カンパニエという侵攻してくる敵を倒して防衛するというコンテンツが楽しかったです。プレイヤーやNPCを援護したり、自分が敵を引き付けたりとゴチャゴチャしているのが、結構楽しかったですね。

BGMは素朴な感じのものが多くて個人的には好きなサントラですが、
『bonus track』はアレンジでもなく『アトルガンの秘宝』に未収録だったものが
収録されています。

コンポーザーは、水田直志氏になります。
